Rover Rhys Thorpe Signs For The Saints

We are delighted this evening to announce that we have secured the services of Eynesbury Rovers striker Rhys Thorpe. The Twenty-Five year old striker, who famously scored two goals to help Eaton Socon knock us out of last season’s Hunts Senior Cup, joins us from neighbours Eynesbury Rovers having scored sixteen times in twenty-two appearances for the Premier Division strugglers. 

As well as Rovers, Rhys has also had succesful spells at Eaton Socon, Eynesbury United, Newmarket Town and Histon FC.

On joining the Saints, Rhys added: “I can’t wait to get going and meet the boys this evening and join up with old mates Browny and Georgie and hopefully look forward to being involved in Saturday’s visit to the League leaders. Hopefully I can help with the promotion push by chipping in with a goal or two along the way”
